Welcome New Students the Right Way

Craft an email experience that builds trust—and fills your classes.

Your First Email Matters More Than You Think

When someone joins your list, visits your site, or downloads a resource—what happens next?

For most real estate schools, the answer is… not much.

That’s a missed opportunity.

A strong welcome sequence can build trust, answer key questions, and move someone closer to enrolling—all without requiring daily effort. And the best part? You can automate the whole thing in under 30 minutes.

Here’s the Sequence We Recommend

Use this structure as your starter plan—or let us customize one for your school.

  • Make a warm first impression. Let new subscribers know who you are, how often you’ll email, and what kind of content they can expect.

    Example:
“Hi there! Thanks for signing up with Arizona Realty Academy. Every week or two, we’ll share helpful tips, licensing updates, and resources to support your real estate journey. You’ll always have the option to opt out—but we think you’ll find real value here.”

    Bonus Tip:
Include a short intro from your school founder or director to add a personal touch and build immediate trust.

  • Build trust early by tackling a top FAQ. This positions your school as a helpful resource, not just a course provider.

    Example:
“One of the most common questions we get is: How long does it take to get licensed in Arizona? The short answer: It depends, but for many students, it’s a few weeks. In this email, we’ll break down the steps and timeline so you can start planning your path.”

    Bonus Tip:
Link to your FAQ page or a short blog for extra info, and consider adding a quick testimonial or stat like: “97% of our students complete the licensing process in under 30 days.”

  • Offer a helpful resource, not a hard sell. This keeps engagement high while guiding students forward.

    Example:
“Not sure which course fits your schedule or goals? Our free Real Estate Education Guide breaks it all down—what’s required, how online training works, and what to expect along the way. Click below to download your copy.”

    Bonus Tip:
Use a friendly, action-oriented CTA like: “See your options” or “Explore the guide.” Save the hard sell for later.
